Spring. Field Director, Belize River Archaeological Settlement Survey. Primary responsibility for directing the excavation of a large Maya housemound located along the Belize River bottom. Resulted in recovery of information pertaining to 22 superimposed plaster floors, and four superimposed masonry structures dating from Late Preclassic to Late Classic. Also assisted with field school responsibilities and the relocation and excavation of test pits at 17 of 48 previously tested sites.
