The fifth Faculty Institute: Teaching with Technology will be offered for UCSB faculty members June 19-21, 2007. The Institute is a joint effort of Instructional Development, Instructional Computing, and L&S Information Technology, and will consist of three all-day series of presentations and hands-on workshops. We will explore topics such as "Course Management Deployment at UCSB" and "Effective Use of Course Management Systems" Workshops will address topics such as basic use of Sakai or Moodle, advanced use of tools within Sakai and Moodle, and inserting rich media in a CMS environment.
