There are many rewards as well as pressures inherent in the role of teaching assistant. As a TA, you are in many ways an intermediary between faculty and students. Often, students will ask more questions of and speak more openly to their TAs than to faculty members. While this adds to the duties and responsibilities of TAs, it can also be rewarding to know that your role is an important one.
