Final Report
for TA Instructional Grants
Once you have finished your instructional grant project, and it has been used
by students or TAs, you can submit your final report to Associate Vice Chancellor
Tobin, Office of Academic Programs. While the final report need not be lengthy,
the following type of information is pertinent to the report.
- A summary of how the project was actually carried out in relation to the
materials or activities that were originally proposed. Particular attention
might be paid to the "in process" adjustments that you found desirable
or necessary. Such "experiential" information is sometimes valuable
to us and to others interested in projects generically similar to yours.
- An evaluation of the project. You should include student reactions to your
project as well as your own professional judgment concerning the success/instructional
effectiveness of the project. Of particular interest to us is any evidence/opinion
that you may have regarding the project's impact on student learning of the
course material, or any other instructional benefits which may have stemmed
from the project (e.g., supporting data from faculty who used the materials
that you developed would also be helpful).
- Any suggestions or comments that you would offer to others who might consider
embarking upon projects similar to yours.
- We are also interested in anything you may have to say (either positive
or negative) about the assistance that you may have received from the Instructional
Development staff.
If you have any questions about the nature or extent of this report, please
contact Shirley Ronkowski (x3341).
Thank you in advance for meeting this reporting requirement.
